On 16 April 2020 Virgin Australia (ASX: VAH) announced that it had requested a Voluntary Suspension of its securities on the ASX, including the Virgin Australia Notes (ASX: VAHHA).
The request was made following the expiry of a previously requested Trading Halt on 14 April 2020.
The Voluntary Suspension allows Virgin Australia to continue to consider the issues brought about by the COVID-19 crisis including discussions with respect to financial assistance and restructuring alternatives which are ongoing.
The suspension will remain until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market or 7 days from 16 April 2020.
